When it comes to supportive exfoliation, I like options! Almost everything I see out there has such harsh exfoliating ingredients layered into them and very often, I will see new clients using multiple products at a time that are exfoliating. This is too much for a healthy lipid barrier.

PHA (poly hydroxy acid) are a newer class of exfoliants that have a larger molecular size than AHA’s so they are much more gentle on the skin. It’s still not something I would use every day but I find it helpful to have a PHA in a liquid like this one in case clients need to spot treat an area like the chin or forehead rather than an all over the face exfoliant.

And like all other products from Three Ships, they have included very gentle ingredients that help to buffer the exfoliants.

After cleansing, saturate a cotton round with exfoliating treatment. Sweep the cotton round across your face and neck. Let the exfoliating treatment absorb, then continue with the rest of your skincare routine. May also be directly applied with hands.

For daytime use, don’t forget to follow with sunscreen. Test on a patch of skin before applying to the face. Keep out of reach of children and away from direct sunlight. Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients.
