Our skin does not need daily exfoliating, acids etc and these days it’s hard to find products that don’t contain exfoliants. I like to keep the needs of my skin in separate steps so that I can use them more intuitively and only when my skin calls for it. Facial oil (moisture) is a separate application from hydrosols (water) for the most part and supportive exfoliants are only used when needed.

I will use my konjac sponge and my Wild Botanicals Rose Dust during the week because that’s the kind of exfoliation my skin likes best. Then when I need a little boost, maybe once a month, I use 1 pump of this resurfacing nectar overnight or maybe as a monthly mask. My skin just doesn’t like a lot of exfoliation and everyone is going to be different in their needs.

It’s so nice to have a whole plant alternative to aggressive and harsh chemical exfoliants!

The Ritual:

This refining nectar is best used as needed in the evening.Every skin is going to be different and some make use it once a week while others may only need it once a month. Apply 1–2 pumps to clean skin. A light tingling is a natural signal of renewal in progress. Wait 1 minute, and follow with hydrating essence and serum.

If you have more sensitive skin, you may apply your facial oil & hydrosol first before adding 1 pump of this exfoliant. Or rather, apply as a 2 minute mask, then rinse.
