Way back when, I used to get a shellac every 2 weeks. Mostly because i couldn't be bothered to take it off myself, but also because I really liked getting my nails done.


I still do every now and then but because I have to keep my nails so short for work, it's not always something I think is worth it. But I still like my nails to look clean and polished and when I found this kit, I knew I had found a solution that I could do myself at home without having to take the extra time for coats of polish and dry time. 


It's a pretty easy hour to myself,. I soak my cuticles, push them back and then buff them with the glass file and the top them with the cuticle oil. I was wary of the cuticle oil at first as a lot of times they can be gloppy. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly this soaked in and how shiny and buffed it made my nails!


I now keep the cuticle oil in my purse so I can apply it more frequently as it cuts down on ragged and dry cuticles for me.

For Citrine Oil: Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Olive Squalane, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Vitus Vinifera (Grape) Seed oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Hippophae Rhamnoides (Sea Buckthorn) Fruit Oil, and fragrance (essential oils).

The Polisher by applying gentle but firm pressure across the nail in short strokes.


Once shined, use the brush pen to apply a thin coat of The Cuticle Oil to the nail bed and cuticle.


Repeat weekly for the Polisher and daily for the Cuticle Oil.
